I love this movie and have watched it many times. This actor portrays a gentle, loving, patient and forgiving Jesus. I have shown this to quite a few friends and they fell in love with Jesus. This is a very enlightening and uplifting movie for the whole family. He is very friendly and on a first name basis with all of the staff and Nikki asks him if he goes there often, he says, “No, this is my first time.” She thinks that as strange because they act as if they all know him so well. This man is patient and loving as he answers her questions with straight forward facts with gentle responses. She also gets a few revelations about her own life.

At first, Nikki wants to leave, but decides to stay for a free meal and take this man’s “bluff.” She was curious and always wondered things like, “Why is Christianity the one true religion?” The evening goes on with a conversation of questions and revelations about Jesus’ life. He introduces himself as Jesus and, of course, she does not believe him. Instead she is met by a well-dressed stranger. She goes to the restaurant expecting to meet her husband. Then she thinks maybe it is from her husband asking her out to her favorite romantic restaurant to surprise her after all. At first Nikki thinks it is another ploy to get her to church from her religious neighbors. She asks her receptionist who brought this note. It is for a dinner at her favorite restaurant. A disappointed Nikki goes to work and finds a dinner invitation waiting for her on her computer keyboard. Her husband is not a very attentive man and he tells her he already made plans to attend a baseball game with his buddy. One day Nikki asks her husband if they could go to her favorite restaurant for a romantic evening.
She wants nothing to do with them and their religion. She is so turned off by her Christian neighbors who are always trying to bring her to their church. This entertaining film is about a cynical lawyer, Nikki Cominsky (Pamela Brumley), and Jesus (Jefferson Moore). This movie turned into a movie trilogy-“Another Perfect Stranger” – September 2007, which is about Nikki’s daughter and “Nikki – August 2013, which is about Nikki when she is 40 years old.
It is based upon the bestselling novel, “Dinner with a Perfect Stranger” written by David Gregory. This Independent Christian Film movie which is approved by the Dove Family Foundation is definitely one you will want to see. The “Perfect Stranger” is an older movie, which was released in April of 2005.
